 This week we read a book about refugees and migration that helped the  children explore the reasons why people are forced to leave their homes—such as war, danger, or hardship—and the emotional journey that follows. Through these stories, children learned to empathize with the struggles and hopes of others, understand the value of safety and belonging, and recognize the importance of kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.  These books nurtured compassion and encouraged children to see newcomers not as strangers, but as people with stories, dreams, and the same need for a home and community.

 This week we read several books about empathy, kindness, and emotional awareness . These books teach children to understand their own feelings and recognize the emotions of others. They learned how to express care, handle conflicts gently, and build positive relationships.  These stories help children grow into compassionate, emotionally intelligent individuals.

This week we read several books about cultural diversity. These books about cultural diversity helped the  children understand that the world is made up of many different people, languages, traditions, and ways of life. Through stories, they learn to value and respect differences, recognize similarities, and appreciate the richness that diversity brings to our communities. These books encouraged open-mindedness, empathy, and curiosity, helping children grow into inclusive and compassionate individuals who are better prepared to live and work in a multicultural world

 This week the children learned the importance of fairness, making choices, and having a voice through a book about democracy and elections. The book helped them understand how decisions are made in a community and why everyone's opinion matters.

 This week we read two books about children rights, such as the right to an education, to health, happiness and security. We ended the week with various art activities related to the books.

 This week we read four books that bringd the topic of individual differences and disabilities ( blindness, deafness, muteness). These books made the children aware of all the things that makes us unique and different and also aware of other children that may have a certain disability. We ended the week with a fun activity related to the books.

 This week we read our book about friendship and solidarity. The children enjoyed it very much. We completed the week with various art activities that were based on cooperation and solidarity.
